Installer Declaration (Y.D.E.)

The Installer Declaration is a certification of safety & good operation of the electrical installations to avoid user accidents from fire and electric shock.

In what cases is it required?

  • When a name change is implemented on the electricity bill.
  • Before every rental or sale of a property.
  • For new buildings that need reconnection.

What is the validity of the I.R.?

  • For residences: 10 years.
  • For commercial premises: 2 or 5 years (depending on the specific use).

The Installer Declaration is implemented in every modification of the installation, even if the above years have not passed.

What documents are needed for the implementation of the I.D. on my property?

The necessary documents we need to complete the study are the following:

  • Copy of police ID or passport
  • Address
  • Existing electricity bill
  • Floor plan or floor plans of all levels
