Our main objective was the building to be composed of two two-storey maisonettes, functionally independent from each other. Therefore, based on this we created two volumes adjacent to each other but visually distinct. The residences’ position, due to the small and oblique plot, is selected to be centrally. One of the two two-storey residencies is adjacent to the two limits, separating in this way the uncovered space. Both residencies use the same route as an entrance to the plot, while alongside two independent courtyards are formed, one for each residence. This setting aids in the utilization of the correct orientation from all the main spaces. Finally, the stone walls existing in parts in the facades constitute a recycling of the stone found in the old existing residence.
