The choice of the owner for a total renovation of the 1st floor’s apartment was made in an energy upgrade too. Exterior insulation was added to the shell of the apartment and some frames were replaced. Inside the floor, all the walls were demolished and the new layout of the apartment was designed from the beginning. The design of the new spaces was adapted based on the existing openings of the building, so that each room takes advantage of the natural lighting and the existing balconies. In this way, the house now includes a corridor that connects the entrance with all the other spaces, the living room – kitchen, the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms and the warehouse.
