Due to the steep slope of the ground, a large part of the particular country house was placed within it. Therefore, its main natural lighting could only be achieved from one facade. For this reason, a lowered courtyard (cours anglaise) was designed at the back of the residence, in order to provide the habitants with the possibility of additional lighting, but also the feeling of having a courtyard almost inside their home. Communication with the yard is achieved through a large sliding glass window, which is connected to the living room and kitchen area. On the facade of the residence, another terrace is created parallel to it, on which a pergola with mobile vertical elements is designed to manage the sun.
